Alexandra is a medical laboratory technologist, educated at the Karolinska Institute. She has worked with culturing of cells and tissue engineering at the Karolinska Institute since 1991.

Ingemar Kihlström
Chairman of the board
Born 1952. Board member since 2003.
Ingemar Kihlström has been working with preclinical, clinical research and
business development at Astra and Pharmacia during fifteen years. He has ten
years experience from the financial sector as an analyst, now active as an
independent adviser to the biotech/medtech/pharma sector. Mr. Kihlström
holds a PhD in physiology and is Associated Professor at the University of
Uppsala.

Gunnar Kratz
Professor, MD
Gunnar is founder of Karocell Tissue Engineering AB. He has built and managed the laboratory for Experimentel Surgery and Tissue Engineering at the Karolinska University Hospital since the beginning of the 1990’s. Since March 2002 he is Professor in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the University Hospital in Linköping. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board in Mölnlycke Health Care AB, Medicarb AB and New Science Svenska AB.
Anders Boman
MD
Anders is co-founder of Karocell Tissue Engineering AB. He is a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery. Since the beginning of the 1990’s he has worked with research in and culturing of chondrocytes. He is responsible for the Emergency Unit at the Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital, Karolinska University Hospital.
