KARODERM™
Karoderm™ is human donated cell free dermis and can be used as a biologic scaffold for autologous keratinocytes to grow on in full thickness wounds and thereby restoring the elasticity and functionality of the dermal part of the skin. Donated dermal grafts replace lost dermis and can significantly reduce scarring and contracture. This is particularly important in growing children. It is also used to fill soft tissue defects as a result of e.g. skin cancer or trauma.
